New Image on criminal threat to NZ dairy sector
Posted on Tuesday, 10st March 2015.New Image Group is fully conversant with the NZ Police and the NZ Government’s cohesive and systematic response to a criminal threat to deliberately put the chemical 1080 into infant formula and other formula if 1080 is not withdrawn from use in New Zealand.
Together with other manufacturers of dairy-based products, New Image has been working cooperatively, ahead of the deadline given in the blackmail letters that issued the threat, to ensure consumers’ safety both in New Zealand and overseas.
New Image has reviewed all its procedures and is confident that its products at the time of manufacture or export continue to be safe to consume.
